Heat Pumps
We are accredited and trusted installers of air source and ground source heat pumps operating across the UK. We are highly experienced having managed the installation of over 400 heat pump installations (air source and ground source) over the last three years and, it goes without saying, we carry all the necessary accreditations required to do the job.
We are people who care about what we do – providing you with appropriate specialist, advice and a quality installation experience on your renewable energy investment is our number one priority.
What we do..
From initial design to final handover, our installers will cover every aspect of your renewable heating installation. We are familiar with completing both one-off, private installations and working with main contractors alongside other trades people on large projects (including large scale apartment block conversions).
Our range of heat pump related services include:
Air Source
Heat Pumps
Air source heat pumps extract heat from the outside and distribute it indoors through heating and water systems.
Ground Source
Heat Pumps
A ground source heat pump is a super-efficient heating system, delivering year-round heat to your property.
Underfloor Heating
and Radiators
We provide high quality underfloor and radiator heating systems to complement your heat pump.
Service & Fault
Call Repairs
We pride ourselves in providing the best service, ensuring long-term efficiency and performance of your renewable heating.
The UK Government Boiler Upgrade Scheme
We are have been authorised by OFGEM to operate under the Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) meaning that we are able to assist you with your application and apply for the grant on your behalf.
As announced in April 2022, the UK government is offering an incentive grant of £5,000 per household for a heat pump installation. The scheme has £450 million in funding to give away, so now is the time to claim your £5,000 towards an air source heat pump and assist you with rising energy costs.
How Does A Heat Pump Work?
Air source heat pumps are a clever renewable energy solution that absorb heat from the outside air to provide your home with heating and hot water.
A unit is installed on the outside of your house which effectively works like a fridge in reverse by removing cold air from your home and creating hot water for your home’s radiators and/or underfloor heating.
Similarly, a ground source heat pump works by transferring heat from the ground outside of your home to provide it with heat and hot water.
Thermal transfer fluid (TTF), which is a mixture of water and antifreeze flows around a loop of pipe, buried in your garden or outdoor space.
Heat from the ground is absorbed into the fluid, which then passes through a heat exchanger into the heat pump. This raises the temperature of the fluid and then transfers that heat to water for use in the house.
If you want to become energy independent, make your home all-around more carbon neutral and, most importantly, achieve significant day to day financial savings, then a heat pump combined with solar panels and a storage battery are a great choice.
